Reflection is the sowing of seeds. Sitting with them for a while until I feel the roots start to stretch into the earth. 
I shed a layer of skin. It burns off and turns to ash. I ask my body what it needs and shift my face to the sun. Releasing the resistance to three deep breaths. I think to myself, “I feel closer.” To whatever it is I’ve been looking for.
